Yes - DNS4ME are under attack at the moment. Switching to one of their other DNS servers (outside of NZ/AU) works.

Can you try pinging 8.8.8.8?

If it doesn't return a timeout it is likely that it is a DNS issue

Youu don't choose the server there. You can find the DNS servers addresses under Faq - wnich DNS do I use

You then need to change to the new dns ip in your router or device (using thier guides if you need to)

Also it appears the oz and nz DNS server are the ones under attack, other ones appear ok at the moment

@ronw look here: http://www.geekzone.co.nz/forums.asp?forumid=178&topicid=195520&page_no=2#1557007

I don't want to post this in the public due to the nature of these attacks (suspected to be from a provider with an obsession of popcorn).

Yes DNS4ME seems to get attacked every now and then the attack was a NTP DDOS was flooding the host with about 300mbit of traffic lasted 1 1/2 hours, lucky because NTP attacks usually are allot bigger 1GBIT+ attacks.
To help this make sure you set the secondary DNS server, although I believe the secondary server was also been flooded by a "RENT A DDOS"
