UFB just became available at my place. I'm on VDSL at the moment. I'm planning to join 2Degrees and get them to arrange the UFB install. Now, is there a way to do it right or can someone from 2Degrees here assist as the past install of VDSL didn't go so well and neither did moving ISPs. Ended up with no internet once where old ISP disconnected and the new one did not take over in time.
Thanks

I'm with BigPipe won't I be paying for an extra month as they require 30 days notice I believe?

What's more important to you, moving ISPs and avoiding a potential outage or saving that money?

TBH, I'd probably just stick with bigpipe if avoiding the outage and not paying for the "overlap" with 2 ISPs is important to you.

Hey Quebec,

Probably the best way to go to ensure you don't get disconnected early and have no overlap would be to move the existing VDSL connection over to us, and we can keep that running until we have you up and running on UFB. That way, on the offchance there are any complications with the UFB install, you don't need to keep your DSL provider in the loop and we'll keep the conenction active for you in the meantime.

Feel free to message us if you have any specific queries on this

Thanks,

UFB installs can be complex and can have huge delays - 6 months to a year isn't unusual. Don't turn off the old connection until the new connection is working.
