Hi!

I moved our 2 numbers over to 2deg, but the reception around home and around Waiheke was.... well, unusable at best. So I've moved back to Spark.

I recall from when I signed up that there is a 2 week period from signing up where you cancel without paying, but I can't find reference to it.

Anyone know if this is the case? (I'll call customer service about it tomorrow too). If it helps, one connection is prepaid, so nothing to do on that, and the other is sim only, no contract, with the family sharing thing.

Ta

Nic

Not sure about the 2 week thing but why didn't you try and test their signal with a cheap sim card before going to the hassle of moving your entire account across, spending $5 could have saved you a lot of wasted time....

Yup, I did that last year, and it was "fine" as they didn't have any cell sites on Waiheke, so it was all Vodafone. Now they do have one, and it's just close enough that my wife's iPhone SE can see it, but not actually USE it (and it refuses to switch to VF without using a manual carrier selection). My iPhone 6 works ok - just - tho the VF data speeds are rubbish on the island, too (<1Mbps usually, edge, or sometimes 3G if I'm lucky).

Looks like it's 7 days, tho they did refund the Family Share part of it, which is good :)
