I want everyone on the network to use my NAS (using dnsmasq) as their DNS server instead of the one provided by my ISP.

Currently DHCP sets the DNS to point to the fritzbox.

So I went into my fritzbox 7490 (v6.30 firmware) changed the DNS settings from "use the ISP ones" to point to my NAS, renewed my DHCP lease

DNS still pointed to my fritzbox.

:-(

So I reset my computer

DNS still pointed to my fritzbox.

So I reset the fritzbox, check the settings (still pointing to my NAS)

DNS still pointed to my fritzbox.

Am I doing something wrong here. Can I even set what DNS to use on the fritzbox?

Help!

If you upgrade to FritzOS 6.5 there is an ability to set custom DNS servers on your LAN. What you are probably configuring is the WAN DNS servers.

I'll upgrade to 6.5 and see if that solves my problems...
