Hi All,

I'm in the process of moving from slingshot to 2degrees for home broadband. When I signed up the mentioned that today would be the day that the magic happened.... Not feeling it though...

My internet died at pretty much 5:30pm today so I thought cool, something must be happening....
I still haven't received my modem yet but should be able to use my existing one.
Only problem is I'm not sure how I should be typing in my username into the modem settings, can anyone confirm the naming convention?
I have an account and password that I can log onto the customer website and that works fine.
Let's pretend it's "hsimpson".... In the modem settings I tried that, no joy, tried hsimpson@2degreesbroadband.co.nz etc....

Annoying this is I was supposed to get a text with all the detail but nothing and gave up phoning after being on hold for 30 minutes.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Final issue was that the password is not the same as what we use to log into the customer portal... It's just some other generic password which I had to speak to 3 people to eventually get....

Finally working now after a day of outage when they promised there would be none....
