Hi guys, I got an static IP from MR with the hope of hosting a game server for myself and couple friends, but alas I can't get anything to work.

I can connect to my server fine over local area network, but nothing over the internet. I can't even ping my external IP address from external locations. Port forwarding is setup on my router, and Windows firewall rules etc set.

Anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

Are you sure you actually have a public IP and not CG-NAT?

Hi Riley,

With a static IP, you should be able to port forward and host a server. If you're having issues, give our team a call to check that IP has been set up properly.

Thanks, the Team @ MyRepublic

1)     https://www.whatismyip.com/

2)     http://www.canyouseeme.org/

If 1 does not match what youve been told, contact MR.

If 1 is fine and 2 isnt working, double check your port forwarding etc

If happy 1 and 2 are fine, contact MR.
