Thanks for the info.

Welcome.  Seems to be working fine, nice new interface... much slicker than the previous one.  Just updating my phone too.

Happy I can now delete network connections as it was causing trouble with virtual machine ips that popped up every now and then.

Does anybodies have a serious of random characters as the login name in the top right of the interface, next to MyFrtiz?

Yerp, the UI is heaps nicer that the older one, but there's one bit of info that's missing for VDSL users. The spectrum graphs don't show the upload bands anymore.  Other than that, its been no problems for the last ~ 3months (it's been available for awhile now).

I haven't looked but will do later, although it has only just been released for the 7390s as far as I can tell (emailed aVM about a month ago and they said it was in testing).

Well Im running a 7390 - firmware 6.52 seems to bugger up the 5Ghz Wireless where range is really bad and then turns off. Found also for some reason - if it picks up plane radar it turns off the 5Ghz wireless signal as well.  I cant downgrade as 2D have suggested to wait for their senior engineers to take a look (plus if you try and downgrade the firmware by AVM's method it can break 2D's defaults!) . But its weird - 6.30 worked like a charm. If you have a 7390 and it works with 6.30 - I suggest don't upgrade yet.

Hmmm. You might be right about the 5Ghz range. It works fine but only half signal a meter from the router?, not quite sure what you mean by plane radar, but a 787 just flew overhead and not a blip on the Wireless Environment graph.

BTW the graphs are awesome. Here is interference from running the microwave on high for 30 seconds (microwave is about 2.5 m from router):

I'm in no hurry, it's working really well.

Also seeing the 5Ghz issue. I get about 8-10m from the unit and the signal drops completely. Not too fussed, as the 5Ghz signal was always quite weak. I'm seeing a lower VDSL sync rate but that's just from 1 resync; it could resync higher tonight.

6.53 is now released.

- fixes Wifi performance issues in FCC regulated domains (eg. Australia)

- Improved stability, correction of fixed IP address assignment

Seems OK, 5Ghz a bit better.

Try another browser, known issue with their older UI in chrome.

Switch your 5ghz channel to one outside of the DFS band and you will not see this.
