Hi all, I'm new here - as my profile clearly shows.

With the announcement of the gigabit speed upgrades across the UFB network, I've been looking around at different ISPs, and of course the Orcon plan with the Xbox One S caught my eye.

I have a couple of questions that I'm hoping someone can answer:

1. I'm assuming the Xbox remains the property of Orcon for the duration of the contract, so it can't just be sold on Trade Me etc? I can't see anything in the offer summary regarding this.

2. The Orcon address checker says fibre is unavailable, even though we have had fibre for over a year with Vodafone & Enable. If we choose to move to Orcon, how easy would the signup process be considering the unavailable checker result?

Thanks

1) the Xbox is yours once you sign up, they have a $500 termination fee if you try to break your contract, which covers them for the Xbox

Hi there,

1) As pointed out above, the Xbox is yours, but there is a $500.00 termination fee if you break the contract, so one wouldn't be able to simply sign up and immediately cancel to score a free Xbox (not suggesting you'd do that, of course!).

2) The address checker is probably just a tad out of date - our Sales team on 0800 56 46 87 should be able to place an order manually for you if it is indeed available.

Cheers,

Cam
