I got sent a new 7490 to upgrade my 7390 and I've dropped from a solid 3MB per second download rate to only 120KB per second. Something is clearly throttling the speed somehow but I'm not sure what. Doesn't make a difference whether I am on wifi or lan, and is the same on all of my devices. I have not changed any settings except for upgrading the firmware on the 7490 to try and fix it. I'm wondering if I have been sent a bung / refurbished router possibly? Really keen to experience the increased wifi range for the 7490, but this is currently unusable so I have to switch back to the 7390. If anyone might know a fix then it would be good to know before I try to contact 2 Degrees.
