It is 10PM but I have tested this from 7PM today. At someone else's place.

PC with network cable under speedtest.net gets a 94/20.

Cellphone gets a 33/20 under the 5Ghz band, the other band I get 20/20. This same cellphone at my home, with 2Degrees (with their Fritzbox) gets up to a 94/20. I also walked up so I was 1.5m from the router physically. Using the WiFi Analyser app it shows the signal was 55dBm.

The My Republic router is a TP Link Archer C2.

Any thoughts? Cheers

if the speed test with an ethernet cable is getting the correct speed then the issue with with your router/access point or your device. its got nothing to do with your ISP and they are unlikely to be able to/or want to help you as they provide the internet not the wifi in your house.

WiFi is shared bandwidth with other WiFi users around you so the more WiFi access points around you in use the less bandwidth for other users

No RSP has any control over WiFi as it's a best effort service affected by a huge number of variables. The fact you're getting perfect speeds over Ethernet show the connection working perfectly.

Being 1.5m away from a router would likely affect WiFi as you're too close.

The first thing to have done would have been to rebooted the router and tested again.

doesnt matter if its supplied by my republic they are an INTERNET service provider, they give you a router that has wifi for convenience not for performance, and they dont really support or generally help with wifi issues.
