Hi all,

New to the UFB network and its 'magic', have a lot of experience with VDSL in Aussie.

I have purchased a Synology RT1900AC router, and reading through the below 'locked' thread to no avail.

Has anyone a step by step guide to setting these up under Synology's new SRM (V1.1)?

I could part with $50, as i know i have spent more than that in my own time understanding these new concepts.

FYI, i have pulled most of the data from the 'genius' via Telnet... :)

Without that VLAN support on the WAN, you are out of luck.

I have been using the Synology Router with UFB 1000/1000 for months now. It does support VLAN. You need to go into Network Centre, click Internet and then click the button "[ISP Settings (IPTV/VOIP)]" then change the settings to this:

Whats the real world wifi coverage like?

My vodafone supplied UFB coverage is poorer than the previous ADLS supplied one ?

I already have a synology NAS and like the interface etc.

A.

Pretty good but I still have a FritzBox 7490 in the lounge with sames SSIDs for roaming around the house.
