Hello

My wife is on 2 degrees prepay.

She does not use that much, I top her up $20 and it lasts over a year.

I have now set up auto topup for when she goes under $2.50, which is good, but

does this also auto top up after the 365 days of no top up to keep the same number?

Thanks

Sorry, misread your question - no, not exactly. The auto-topup triggers after a chargeable event. In that context expiration does not count as such an event - you'd have to make a call or send a message or something.

Move to New Zealand's best fibre broadband service (affiliate link). Note that to use Quic Broadband you must be comfortable with configuring your own router.

Does auto topup trigger on renewing combos with insufficient balance?  It didn't use to.

No, that's what Pack Assist (or whatever we're calling it today) is for. Well, unless 'insufficient balance' happens to be less than $2.50, in which case yes. We considered doing what you're thinking of, but the consensus was that that would confuse a bunch of people ('But I thought it only auto-topped-up when I had less than $2.50??').

Thanks for that.

The problem i have is that she is out off the country sometimes, and doesn't get the messages.

So i thought if it topped up when 365 days are up, i don't have to worry about it.
