When I was in the process of signing up to fibre in March this year 2 degrees had an offer running where you go 3 months free if you signed up for a 1 year contract.

I signed up, but due to chorus messing about for 6 months I didn't get connected until september. When I called up to confirm my offer in the intervening 6 months and when I called up on connection I was assured that the offer I signed up to would be honoured.

However now they are saying the that offer didn't start until may this year so I don't qualify.

Unfortunately I signed up online so don't have a copy of the web page at the time.

Could anyone help with any dates that the offer ran, or even better archive pages of the offer please?

Yes they are correct. Here is a snapshot of the page in March and in May.

I couldn't find any reference of the offer at all in the archive of their website from March.

Hi New2NZ,

If you confirmed your application during this promotion, and there was a delay to getting the fibre up and running for whatever reason, the promotion will still be honoured when you are on fibre. There were a couple of different promotions, one was a general promotion, and there were address-targetted offers of the same promotion as well, so it is possible that the agent you spoke with hasn;t checked all promotions from the time you signed up, however this should be documented on your application itself.

Can you please message us here with your address and broadband customer number, and we'll check this out for you.

Thanks

Ralph ^JOB
