Never would be my pick.

Flip exists as a very low cost copper offering in the marketplace because it can leverage the Vocus UCLL network. Since there is no unbuldling of fibre it would have no cost advantage.

Hi there,

We have no imminent plans to launch fibre, sorry - if you're super keen then our friends over at Slingshot would be happy to sort something out for you: www.slingshot.co.nz.

Cheers!

I was informed more recently that Flip wont be doing fibre , has the policy changed recently?

it was all go for a while and then it went deathly silent , i called up and was told it wont happen.

stuff fibre has no contract from what i can tell and is the logical alternate because then IF flip does come through you can immediately swap back in theory, of course Flip cant recommend that because stuff is a competitor but for the end user its quite tempting.  I recall another start up no too long ago offering great deals and no contracts, now who was that.. hmm

imminently meaning "very soon"   but that time has come and gone imo
