limit speeds on orcon router?

I'm on the 200/20 plan atm splitting the payment between 3 people and I'm thinking about upgrading to the gig plan which no one else wants to pay the extra 20/m for.. they said they don't care if I upgrade to it and limit them to 200/20 so it's like they're still on that plan - is this possible on orcon router or will I need some sort of software? (not really going to bother if I need software since that'll only really work on PCs and not consoles/phones)

If you wanted to do that your best option would be to look at new hardware such as a Mikrotik router.

It potentially would be possible with QoS profiles in the NF4V but it's not going to be straight forward.

Is there a reason why you want Gigabit? For 99.9% of people it's not going to make the slightest difference to their everyday internet experience.

Seeding/streaming from my server etc... (the 3MB/s really isnt cutting it on the 200/20) so nothing built into orcons router?

To be perfectly honest if you want Gigabit then just get it - don't bother limiting speeds as nobody is ever going to need full Gigabit and this is a tonne of bandwidth to go around.

If you go gigabit then no as the fritzbox (the replacement for the NF4V because apparently it doesn't do gigabit fiber) they send out is severally limited to what you can do on it you can't even do and update firmware because it's been taken out
