Must be a hard life being the bot that deals with bills at 2degrees mobile.

Bill sent by email on the 11th of January, due on 19th of January.
Reminder sent by SMS on the 12th of January.
New reminder sent by SMS on the 17th of January.

I wonder how many more reminders I will get...

Maybe you are on a special list? I only get the email and no SMS reminder.

I always pay my bills on time, so not sure why that would be.

I have blocked all SMS from 2degrees because of annoyances like this. Once I have the bill I will pay it - I don't need to be told ten times.

That's a really short "due time"

Sure you should know that you have a bill to pay around that time each month but "stuff" happens sometimes.

Can you do this as a network setting, or does it need to be done on each device you own?

I, too, am frustrated with the amount of times they remind me via SMS about a bill. I've never paid late in the three years I've been with 2d.

Doesn't SMS only go through to one device? That's one of the reasons I never use it.

On my iPhone I think I blocked them by selecting the (i) in the top right corner, then clicking the phone number, then selecting 'block this caller'. You just need to be careful to unblock them again if you ever use any of their account admin services that require two factor authentication.

Mac, iPhone & iPad for me. Luckily blocking on one device should filter to the rest via iCloud, I assume.

Oh, you are assuming their system is clever and knows when I have paid? Oh no... Just as insistent that I remember to pay even when I have paid..

I pay automatically via credit card and the bot sends a single SMS informing me of how much money it is going to deduct from my card. It gives me a lot more warning than you seem to be receiving as well.
