Hey all,

Ever since 2degrees forced a firmware upgrade on my Fritzbox, my Asus wireless card has not been able to pick up the wireless connection. It can see other WiFi connections nearby but not this one. I have tried different drivers, completely different hardware and OS (upgraded all major hardware components last night) and manually adding the SSID. I am currently bridging my laptops connection which works but is obviously not ideal.

Any help/a point in the right direction would be much appreciated.

Cheers

Interesting, since the fritz upgrade my 'spotify connect' in sending music from my laptop to the denon av receiver has stopped working too. Airplay still works OK but i don't like it when something is working one day and not the next.

Not sure if the fritz update is the cause, I also added an entry to reverse dns binding override so that plex clients could detect the server on my local lan too. But, that shouldn't have affected the spotify connect functionality.

Networks are complex beasts.

Try setting your wifi channel selection in the fritzbox to auto.

I love you guys. Thank you so much! I had looked at that setting but didn't know enough to change it, even though it does say recommended.

For anyone else. Wireless > Radio Channel > Set radio channel settings automatically.

Thank you so much darkasdes2 and surfisup1000
