Hi there,
This isn't a fault per se, as I've received a new Modem/Router to replace the white modem I received from Orcon when I upgraded to VDSL.
The modem is ASUS DSL-AC68U. I brought this to increase the coverage area in the house and to have only one unit that can do everything as opposed to having a standard wireless modem AND a separate powerful router to widen the coverage area.
However unlike on the back of the NF4V modem that was supplied by Orcon, the AC68U doesn't have inputs for the bundled phoneline. The ASUS unit did come with a VDSL splitter but wouldn't this be just for those who have a fixed line from Spark AND VDSL from a separate ISP, no?
When I tried the splitter, the phoneline wouldn't work so I was just wondering if anyone has a modem of similar nature and it's all working perfectly OR of they had to buy an additional piece of hardware for the bundled phoneline OR EVEN STILL....if I'll just have to resort to Orcon's modem and just buying a separate wireless router?
Kind regards
Cade
