Nice surprise tonight. Had to check the router as the internet connection went down (possibly in connection with the increased upload speed).

Used to have max 10 Mbit/s. Now I have more than 25 Mbit/s upload speed on my VDSL.

That added to the fact that most of the apartments around here have switched to fibre means that I am more than happy with my VDSL connection!

Could of course get higher speeds on fibre, but hardly ever need it, besides its not possible to wire the apartment in a way that would make that helpful in my office. Which is the reason I have had to let that go. But this doubling of upload speed really soothes that pain

jarledb: Nice surprise tonight. Had to check the router as the internet connection went down (possibly in connection with the increased upload speed). ...

Thanks for pointing this out. My Internet connection also dropped between 01:00 and 01:25, just before your post. I only received a minor bump. Up from 55Mbps to 60Mbps and from 15Mbps to 20Mbps.

Any idea where I can see which areas are affected?
