Prepay Plus

May be coincidence, but both my phone and the wifes have no credit on them were able to txt yesterday, I top up yearly (Yes i know) when a reminder text comes out, but I have never run out of credit, i always have ample especially as I only send a couple of txts a month, it just seems strange that we both ran out at the same time.

Any plan changes that may have slipped by me

I suspect you may have missed or not received text reminder from 2degrees reminding you that you needed to top up within the deadline of 12 months.

2Degrees will wipe any remaining balance as the 12 months had expired.

well sure as hell didn't receive it, as both wifely and I are the anally retentive type about keeping in credit

If your phone was off for more than 72 hours when the reminder SMS was sent then the reminder SMS would expire

Phone is never off, as I charge it every Sunday and it seems to last at least 9 days (Old Nokia 200 phone)

Wild guess - problem was caused by the previous major systems upgrade. Can you figure out when you last topped up to see if it actually was the 12 month expiry? See if the balance screen that you get from dialling *100*1# tells you the expiry date or not.

The systems that were upgraded were unrelated to the one that deals with prepay credit expiry.
