Enable ONT >>>>>> R7000 (Wireless) + FritzBox (Wireless Off) >>> Landline

 

In essence, I want to use the R7000 and only use the FritzBox for the Home Phone Plus service. The other option would be a Cisco SPA112 + R7000.

 

Which option would work better?

Why would you want to use the inferior of the two devices as your primary router?

I have both an R7000 and a Fritzbox 7490. The 5Ghz WiFi performance on the Fritzbox is awful compared to the R7000.
