Hello,

Is it necessary for the recipient of this sharing service to keep their own number active via regular top-up payments or similar in order to avoid the number getting recycled?

Thank you.

As long as the recipient uses it regularly, it will stay active without needing to be topped up. Expiry gets reset once every 5 times. Or at least that was the design; I seem to remember it being buggy and resetting every time instead. I may have fixed the "counting to 5" issue at some point since then.
