My VDSL downstream used to be 67~71 Mbits/s a week ago it drop to 36.5Mbits/s.
Is this Chorus end fiddling with the exchange or can be remedied by 2 Degrees?

Yes. Do look at modem stats to ascertain what might be going on.
Also, it could well be ddDLM doing its tuning job on performance. There is whole tread on ddDLM here:

at a high level, this sounds like a move from 17a to 8b, which is VDSL working as expected.
no ideal but these measures are inplace to work on the network as a whole rather than individual experiences.
I'm one who loves the VDSL platform, so much key little things you can pick out on, optimize and tweak.
ddDLM and it's little brother DLM both have amazing features, and quite honestly sh!tty ones. The folk that work of these system's for chorus's network are amazing however and really know what's up.
It is Quite a balancing act between many factors.
