My internet dropped out just after 11pm. I tried rebooting both the FritzBox and ONT, neither helped.

The internet connection log in the FritzBox is showing a huge number of PPPoE timeouts, so it looks like it's not a problem at my end.

The phone support line is obviously busy, with 30+ minute wait times. However, the network status page shows no issues, and nothing has been posted to Twitter.

What's up here, 2degrees? This is the second time in 2 days that you'd had network problems. And why does the status page show nothing is wrong?

Hi nzgeek,

 

There were no known issues on our side around the times you've suggested, so it hasn't been something on our side of things. Could potentially have been an outage or planned maintenance on our wholesaler's network.

 

If you would like us to have a look and see if we can spot anything, feel free to PM us your broadband customer number and address and we'll take a look.
