So I am trying to add a pay monthly mobile number that was recently activated on 2D to my broadband account and the website keep saying - "Sorry this mobile number isn't valid for monthly broadband discount.
If you have just signed up as a Pay Monthly mobile customer please wait 24 hours then call our Customer Care team on 0800 022 022".

So I called 2D customer service, first time response was, try after few days, then try after 10 days. Then today Broadband team says that number is not on 2D pay monthly, we have been using it for few days now.
Got transferred to mobile team, lady on the phone said mobile number is pay monthly and on 2D so nothing I can do talk to Broadband team. So, I said that it seems like a mobile team issue as I just did a test with another 2D pay monthly number and the text was recevied on that no. but I can't use that no. She put me on hold for almost 15-18 minutes then comes back and says she has found out that Broadband team can fix it and she just transferred me straight away and now I am on hold again for the last 7 minutes as I am writing this post.

Issue still remains unresolved, hopefully someone from 2D who knows something will read this and get this sorted.

Hi Quebec,

Doesn't sound flash at all! There have been a couple of issues recently that have affected the Pay Monthly Discount association, and we suspect there is another one on the go today that we are currently investigating.

Can you please PM me the broadband account and mobile number, and we'll check it out.

Cheers
