Bloody hell that is a bit cheaper than what i am paying currently.
mmmmmm
10GB for 5$ more a month? Sign me up!
The more expensive plans look great. But 1GB for $30? Again? Final confirmation that the low end of the on-account range is awful value for money. I'm off to Skinny.
I pay $16 per 28 days for 1GB of data and 150 minutes with Skinny. 2deg almost twice the price for the data, which is what most people are interested in these days.

The idea is to give the impression pay a little bit more and get far more data, They don't want customers on the cheapest plan

Yeah that's probably what they're trying to do. It's possibly not the best value around, but it's not bad.
Pay monthly plans aren't really for price-conscious consumers so I reckon they don't feel like they need to compete at the bottom end

I suspect they will get their wish - just maybe not in the way they intended.

As an existing prepay customer of 2Deg, I got offered the $40 plan at the $30 price. In two years, if I'm still on the same plan, the 2.5GB data drops to 1.5GB.
I'd say good effort on trying to retain customers!

Wow. Just wow. Really feeling valued at the lower end of the market here. Same plan I'm on currently now costs more (admittedly 5 cents but it's still more) without a single change. I was expecting a small bump in data, maybe to 1.5 gb on the base plan. The only reason we've stayed on 2D so long was we have a fibre with them (with the $10 discount) and both the wife and I have a few gigs banked each. This really pisses me off. That $10 discount is just not worth it now.
Nothing here for me either. I'll stick with my $19 prepay plan:
I don't really talk much and usually have a little data over to rollover. I'm currently at 11.5GB of Data and 1349 minutes rolling over (the data was helped by the Data Hunt last summer).
I agree completely. I am quite happy on the $19 prepaid combo. wifi at work and at home, so never get through the data, let along the voice calls.
Anybody else get a blank page when trying to view their phones?

Same here. Ha, all I see is a message saying "Showing 12 of 33 results"... nothing else.

That is exactly what I get. Guess they aren't selling many phones today then.
I don't think I'll ever use 10gb data a month, but I presume I can move up to the $50 plan, get my 10gb data, then drop back to the $30 plan - and just do this once or twice a year as needed, while keeping the 10gb data?
