I have a single residential fibre connection and a 2degrees-issued FritzBox 7490. No problems so far.
I have another PPPoE w/tagging capable router that I want to play around with in my home lab, but I can't take down the Internet connection due to the Mrs wants to watch Netflix.
I've tried enabling PPPoE Passthrough on the FriztBox but the 2nd router cannot connect.
- I'm confident that the router can be used with 2d but can anyone tell me if it still needs the VLAN 10 tag if it's uplink is the FritzBox (not the ONT)?
- I read on the Fritz website that some ISPs don't allow a 2nd connection. I want to confirm if 2d actually allows this before I spend more time on the problem.
- With the FritzBox using it's default 2degrees connection profile, when I check the Passthrough box and save the config it seems to save successfully. But if I then browse back to that page the box is unticked. Is that just a quirk or is there something I need to do on the FritzBox to get this saved?
Thanks!
