I changed my fibre internet provider to 2Degrees.

My previous connection worked fine, so the only hardware change is a new Fritz 7490 modem.

Connected the same way the old modem was connected

I got an email saying my connection has been activated.

However the Fritz user interface overview says internet not connected. Offline.

All ONT lights OK, wireless OK. Account information correct, I believe.

What could possibly be wrong?

Have you called 2Degrees? It's best they do some basic checks first

is it possible your 2D conneciton was provisioned on another port on the ONT?

2D should be able to clear this up for you.
