RalphFromSnap: Snap is currently not accepting new Night Owl connections.

Are you guys likely to offer this again in the future? Having read some of the older discussions it would appear that this plan was always intended to have a cap on its number of users. Perhaps you could have a waiting list to allow new connections as people disconnect for various reasons?

Couple of other things while I'm at it (assuming I get a reply of course *grin*)

I've heard your quiet open to suggestions form potential customers, what's the chance of rolling over data blocks, or switching to a "pay for what you use" ala WxC? I'm quite tempted to switch to you guys, but I really dont like data "poofing" if not used.

Woult the increasedlatency for north island customers be crippling for gaming or are we talking minor increases here?

Thanks in advance.

Howdy,

We are currently not ho.,lding a waiting list for new Night Owl customers, if/when Night Owl opens up it will be on a first in best dressed basis.

There are ideas currently for pay as you go style plans, though none have been implemented yet (atleast for residential users). The increased latency from our services is around 20ms.

Cheers,
Ralph

Thanks for the info Ralph.

If you guys implement a pay as you go plan with reasonable data charges I might just swap over to you guys, certainly the word round here seems to be that the sun shines from the proverbial :-P

Being on the internal LAN I didn't have that problem... can't believe I did that.

Should be fixed now.

We all have our moments.. I spent nearly 20 minutes trying to resolve an issue the other day because I belived someone when they said they'd done step 1 in a process :-P

And as for the pic, yes it certainly does support the gossip lol
