Where are you seeing this? Webmail or email client? If client, which on? On mobile or laptop? Do you have a client that checks emails every hour and delete from server? Did you ever had one?

As above you must have an email client setup with this option setup in settings I can't see it been a 2degrees email issue

Why do you need to email them? They have a support website, which includes their phone number 0800 022 022.

As mentioned above, if you're looking at webmail and see the emails disappear then most likely this is a POP client. If a mail client is using POP (ie the email server is pop.snap.net.nz), then periodically it will download and delete any emails on the server side. Simple fix is to change it to use IMAP:

https://help.2degreesmobile.co.nz/app/answers/detail/a_id/218/

If you don't know what client is connecting with POP, change your webmail password to revoke its access.

Gmail is the main account and the mail remains in the GMail inbox, mail in the SNAP inbox(linked to Gmail) gets deleted after approx 1 hr

setting for SNAP is

imap.snap.net.nz:993:1
smtp.snap.net.nz:465:1

Thanks for all the help

So you've set up Gmail to collect mail from Snap/2d? That's exactly why they're disappearing, because Gmail is connecting and clearing them.

Changing email client won't change the way it works. You've purposely set up your email to work the way you're describing, and as long as you have Gmail configured to collect your Snap email then this will continue to happen.

If you switch to another email client, make sure to check the box "Keep emails on the server" or they will be deleted as now.

I don't think you can do that on Gmail. If you can it would be under Settings. If you can do that and happy with Gmail then no reason to switch clients.
