Just bought the Netgear Orbi router. Gigabit fibre is here. Wanna use it instead of the NetComm NF4. Plugging Orbi directly to the ONT, Download speed is 400mbs, upload speed is 20mbs.
Plugging Orbi to the NetComm modem, download 400mbs, upload speed is 400mbs. Why do I get slower upload speed if I plug my Orbi to the ONT instead of netcomm modem? Do I need to change any setting in my Orbi router?

I have found sometimes with the Orbi this occurs after repowering the Orbi Router. To fix I log into the Orbi Admin go to advanced, goto VLAN settings  set up and uncheck VLAN/bridge and hit apply, then reenter and re-establish VLAN settings via the same path. Each step takes a while but restores full speed.

Here is a crazy notion, lets give peace a chance.

Too bad my phone line doesn't work. I have to plug netcomm modem to Orbi router. Phone still doesn't work. Have any ideas?
