I am heading to Europe via Dubai, and in Dubai I wish to use data in order to play Pokemon Go. Based on feedback I have received, free WiFi in the airport may not be the most reliable and I as I am not entering the UAE, I am unable to get a local SIM card.

Checking out what it could/would cost me on the 2D website, I came across the Globetrotter pack, $30 for 500MB or $55 for 1GB which I thought would be ideal for my needs.
However the terms and conditions confuse me as it seems to indicate that this only works in UK, US, Canada or Ireland .. which doesn't feel very "global"

Can anyone confirm if those pack only works in those 4 countries?

It works in more countries than that, but it does not work in UAE, sorry.

Used Wi-Fi more than once in Dubai Airport DXB and no issues at all that I remember

You need the internet access for what?
