Hi,

On Voda Mobile, you can dial some short codes to activate call forwards at a network level. E.g. call forward to another number after X seconds and/or call forward to another number if busy/unavailable.

I've done a google and couldn't find an equivalent on 2degrees. I made a quick call to the 2d helpdesk but the CSR couldn't help with this one.

Is it possible to do this on 2degrees mobile?

On Vodafone, this is only available to on account customers, not on prepay.

Not sure about 2Degrees though.

I am sure 2degrees Prepaid and pay monthly can do call diversion

Just Google GSM generic codes they are the same across all GSM networks

Yes.

I always thought these where features that pretty much any provider supplies. You could enable/disable per your requirements by yourself directly from your handset. Very similar to 'show my caller id'

See the built in functionality in iOS and Android. Or use USSD codes. Wow, somebody even put up a dedicated website. You do not need an app.

The features like call forwarding need to be active on the network side for customers to be able to use them / set them up

VodafoneNZ Prepaid customers can't setup diverts postpaid can

On that topic, on Spark Mobile with galaxy s7. If I set the call forward settings via the standard Phone app, is it possible to get the a-party caller ID pasting through to the c-party?
Or is it working as designed showing b-party (my cell number) to the c-party?

I use call divert/forward on 2degrees.

I've never used/known about those USSD type quick codes, I just use the diversion options in the call settings. Every GSM phone I've ever owned from old Nokia's to modern Androids has this menu. By default it is set to divert to the voicemail number. Also applied to Vodafone.

Hi, you can Call Forward on 2degrees however you will be responsible for the charges, unless you have an appropriate pack that covers the calls. ;)

Here's how dial **21*NUMBER#

If you’ve already registered the number you want calls to be diverted to then to just activate it just text *21#.

To deactivate dial - #002#
