I use an Orcon mobile plan and for the first time I am travelling in Hawaii. Previously I have travelled to Australia with no problems. Under the 'data usage' option 'Mobile data' is enabled. Under the 'Mobile Networks' option 'Data Roaming' is enabled on 'All networks'. I have an 'Outside Aussie' addon running.

There are two issues I have. Issue 1 is that I never have a data connection available - just the signal-strength bar graph with e small r. The second problem is that dialing local numbers whether just the local (7-digit) or full (001808<local number>) is rejected as an invalid number. Txts to and from NZ are working (and therefore it seems likely voice calls will work too) and this is the main reason for buying the addon. Issue 1 is mitigated by WIFI, issue 2 is mitigated by using my wife's phone - but this is a nuisance.
