Any word on what's new on firmware 7.0?

Currently 6.83, Fritz box is reporting firmware 7.00 is available.

 

Is it ok to update, or best to leave well enough alone? Fritzbox 7560.

 

I let it install on my 7590, no issues I can see, has a few new bells and whistles in it.

7.01 Fritz Firmware for 7490 came out this morning. Just did the update from inside the modem software. Looks good.

I have to say, that interface is pretty cool.

Also they seem to have gone zero compermise, allowing LAN, Powerline and wireless backhauls

Finally got round to putting 2 7490's together with ethernet backhaul. Shame the phone/DECT stuff doesnt 'mesh' over too - that would be awesome.
