Trying to figure out whether it's possible...

I'm using 2 degrees business plan that comes included with a landline number, which I use a lot. The mobile number was originally by Vodafone and start with 021. Not many people know this number

I also have another phone number with Skinny, starts with 020. I had been using this number for my business before and now want to swap the numbers, so that all business calls go to 2 degrees.

So, basically, have 020 and landline on 2 degrees, and 021 reserve for personal calls.

Is it possible?

This would get very messy and you are asking for trouble due to the way porting works

You would need a dummy number in the meantime too.

Others would have better advice than me, however with my knowledge I would suggest.

1 - Temp number added to 2Degrees account 022xxx

2 - Skinny ported to replace Temp number - 020 --> 022

3 - 2Degrees swap alocations of numbers - 021 <--> 020

4 - 2Degrees ported back to Skinny - 021 --> Temp 020

Hmmmm

Hi YourComputerGuy

So just to clarify you want your current Business number that starts 021 to be on a personal or other Business plan with 2degrees and the new 020 (ex-Skinny number) to be the main business number on 2degrees along with the landline?

Yes, this is possible, but requires you porting in your Skinny number onto an activated 2degrees SIM that you own.

Can you PM the numbers you want changed and what plans you want them on along with your account number, name and 4 digit PINs please?

Regards
