I decided to move from Orcon ADSL service to ADSL 2+ service...
I ordered by ADSL2+ service in early July, got a date for provisioning July 7 withich then turned bout to be July 17.
So July 17 comes along, and I lose the phone line and DSL connection for a few hours as expected - but havent been able to connect since then... its now evening of 18th and I have just been informed that a technician will be available 3PM on 22nd Jul !
Interestingly the DSL download speed is now 1984kbps - when I first got Broadbank in 2002 I had 7mbs - and it was duly downgraded to 4mbps - now its < 2mbps..... H'mmm
I am still using my M1122 Modem which I am told will work fine on ADSL2+ but that I wont get ADSL2+ speeds...
Is this outage for 6 days "normal" ?
