Just got this today (also here: https://www.2degreesmobile.co.nz/data-hour/)

We’ve got great news just in time for summer! We’re adding an hour of free mobile data every day to all our Carryover Plans and Combos!

All you need to do is head into your Data Clock app and tap the 1 hour free pack when you’re ready to start streaming. Be sure to check back in every day to grab another hour on us.

So now you can forget about trying to find a free WiFi spot this summer or having to awkwardly ask your Aunt for a WiFi password on Christmas Day. We’ve got your data journey covered.

Which data rabbit hole will you go down? Maybe you’ll start by jamming out to Queen on Spotify and end up uploading your very own tribute video to YouTube. Wherever you end up, you needn’t worry about chewing through your data allowance.

Jump into your Apple or Android app today to start streaming.

Thanks for being with us,

The team at 2degrees

Interesting in the T&C's however:

Fair Use Policy applies. During times of network congestion, customers may experience slower data speeds. Maximum tethering/hotspotting speeds up to 1Mbps.

Netherless, it is free - thanks 2degrees!

I was curious about that tethering part of the T&C, too. Could it be a prelude to an unlimited data plan that allows for (albeit slow) tethering?

That's awesome when you consider tethering was a no no altogether under the old data clock T&Cs.
