Hello,

I recently moved house and finally got a UFB connection, the router from Orcon that came with the contract wifi connection sucked - connections kept dropping, slow when it was connected.
I've installed a NetGear router which is working great, was able to play a 3 minute game on my phone from the lounge - which wasn't possible before and Netflix has stopped buffering.

Only issue is the Orcon router comes with Voip support, and Im wondering whether I can connect the Orcon router to the Netgear router and connect the Voip settings.

Will this work?

If so I'd need to disconnect the internet connection from the orcon router, would it be possible to do this and keep voip running.

Thanks.

There are so many threads on this already ...

vlan 10 tag the port on the 3rd party router that you’re connecting the Orcon router to, or turn off vlan tagging of the wan port of the orcon router.

Another option is to use a third party voip phone/ata adapter.

You're not on Atlantis anymore, Duncan Idaho.
