Just a quick question for anybody with a Homehub - are the VoIP settings locked down on this device or can they be configured and used with a VoIP provider since Orcon are not presently offering a VoIP service?

I tried long and hard to make it work on my asterisk system, but no luck - I reckon it is disabled...

Eager to hear about the converse though...

Hmm.. I thought I replied to this already, thats odd.. anyway.

I'm currently on the plus network using the Gigaset as a router and Voip adapter - using a typical cordless phone. I use the voip for mobile and international calls and the rest on pstn (check the manual for setting up dial prefixes).

Anyways, just try using the "generic" settings by your voip provider.

Edit: I have yet to try a SIP client on it...
