Hi All,

FYI - We've added additional capacity (200gb) into the Auckland network this week.

Nick.

Can you upgrade the motorways too? Need more traffic throughput there...

Curious if it's backhaul capacity (mobile / fixed) or capacity within one / some / all cell sites.

That seems like a bit of a shakey idea...

Heh, last 3 times I've been to Christchurch, esp to and from Sumner and Mt Pleasant, traffic was way worse than Auckland.

There was LOTS of parking though :)

I am actually really impressed with how CHCH looks and feels from a year ago. It has a lovely feel, reminisent of the pre quake days, but better in many ways too. Walking along the water in the CBD was just amazing with my family.

Was that the PPP drop I saw last night then? Poor buggers, having to work that late on a Saturday/Sunday!

Anything I say is the ramblings of an ill informed, opinionated so-and-so, and not representative of any of my past, present or future employers, and is also probably best disregarded.

What does that mean? Internal bandwidth within their own subscribers? In their data center? To the 4G subscribers? International backhaul?
