Hi all,
I have a 2Degrees 200/200 UFB plan that includes an additional /29 IP range in addition to the primary static IP address. I have everything set up and working correctly with the provided Fritz!Box 7560 router, but the performance through the router is abysmal. Speed tests vary wildly, pings to the router vary from the expected <1ms all the way through to timeout. I'm pushing the router fairly hard with a lot of rules & running a permanent site to site VPN, and I suspect the device can't handle it.
2Degrees support aren't overwhelming me with confidence and help, so I'm wanting to know whether anyone has any tried and tested solutions to alternative routers that can handle the way 2Degrees implements their static IP allocations. This connection is off site, so I don't have the ability to test new options the way that I would if it was my home connection.
I've got a Ubiquiti EdgeRouter I use for my home connection, and perhaps that might be an appropriate approach, although I haven't tested it with the /29 subnet.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks
