So recently changed to Orcon fibre ad while it's generally working well I checked the IPV6 connection yesterday and realized it's not working.

IPV6 test claims the ISP is configured fine, but for some reason the configuration isn't propagating onto my network. I've had a look at the IPV6 settings on the router (NF18ACV) and am a tad confused on how to enable it. Does any one have a working IPV6 setup on orcon's NF18ACV and can explain what settings need to be changed to enable it? Or share a screen shot of the config pages set up correctly (with private IP address ranges blanked out)?

I currently have a support ticket open with Orcon on this. My suggestion is to use support channels to raise a ticket. They can then follow up.

I reported that while the 'modem' reported both IPv4 and IPv6 addresses (Device info/WAN), using a website to test these addresses failed on the IPv6 address. I initially used whatismyipaddress.com, but found test-ipv6.com to be more useful as it tests IPv6 and IPv4 addresses and produces a URL link to the results (on the For Help Desk tab) which you can report to Orcon.

Originally I had an NF4V 'modem', but this has been replaced by an NF18ACV. When this modem first booted, the config showed both addresses (as the NF4V did) but test-ipv6.com reported only an IPv4 address. Now (several days later) test-ipv6.com reports reports an IPv6 address. I dont know why this has changed - there was no 'modem' reset or reboot in that time.

I would suggest that any 'modem' config changes in this respect be done only by Orcon. This keeps the problem resolution entirely in their court.

I have tested again this morning - and no IPv6 address is reported. 'Modem' reports uptime of several days. So the saga continues.

Perhaps it is time to escalate the issue within Orcon - is anyone from Orcon watching?

I've been having a bit of an additional look at it as well. Ended up turning on the Router Wifi and connecting to that. To my surprise I find that connection (direct to the Router via Wifi) works with IPV6. I then connected back to the orcon supplied google wifi and lost IPV6 again. Checked the settings on google wifi and it has IPV6 enabled but complains the ISP doesn't properly support it...

It seems there is some disconnect between the settings the Router uses to advertise IPV6 support which allows directly connected WIFI devices to gain it vs Connecting to a IPV6 enabled Google wifi (using the ethernet link), which doesn't seem to be able to get the IPV6 details from the router in a manner in which it accepts.

Not sure what the issue is there but it is rather annoying as the house is big enough that google wifi is needed to cover it, and effectively manages both my wireless and wired networks, but at the same time Google Wifi can't seem to grab an IPV6 address from the router and pass IPV6 connection details through to the house network it manages.
