Heading to Aussie for a short period, won't have reception often enough to justify buying a local sim - was looking at a 15 day pack instead.

Question that I can't seem to find on the FAQ - when does the 15 day timer start? From purchase, or from activation (ie first time the phone registers in Aussie)?

A locsl sim is worth considering. I picked up one at Sydney airport fron Vodafone for $15 with 35 gig data and unlimited local calling and texts for 28 days

I'm not sure when it starts because I always buy on the day I'm flying - either before takeoff if I remember or when landed. If I recall the pack ends at midnight NZ time on the final day, so it is not so relevant when it starts as long as you have bought it before you use your phone in anger in Aussie?

Starts when you purchase the pack
