Hi All

I have emailed Orcon about this as well, but thought I'd post it here to warn others

I've had 2 Phone calls today from an 07 Area Code with the same automated msg

I won't put the full numbers just in case

1st 4th July 10:53am 07858xxxx

2nd 4th July 2:15pm 07810xxxx

Both of these had an automated voice saying "This is your ISP, Your internet will be disconnected within 24 hours due to your IP address being compromised" I hung up after that, but I assume they want me to ring some random phone number to get this sorted,

and I know from experience that when Orcon suspends your account they email/txt you

But anyway I just thought I'd put it out there just in case :)

Thanks

I didn't try ringing the numbers back, just in case, so wasn't sure if they were allocated or spoofed (dunno if that's the right term)

Thanks again,

Update from us: We have blocked these numbers from coming into our network via the international carriers, and the originating carriers have also been informed of this issue.

Thanks!
