I got mine when I first signed up for Orcon+ in March/April.  I didn't know about it, so it was a nice little surprise.  Haven't used it, mind you.  They subsequently sent an email saying there'd been a problem with getting them sent out and they'd send it out ASAP.  Don't think we ever got another one though.

It's OK, but it's not all that great as it can't be used for 'No Complimentaries'.

My arrived about a month ago and was a nice surprise.
I also got a second invite to sign up for LLU services which was quite unexpected :-)

Yes I got mine shortly after LLU was introduced. It is good, though you need to be patient to avoid the 'no complimentaries'. May well go to Batman this weekend as the complimentaries start 14 Aug.  Usually the cinema staff look confused when I pull the card out, but they work it out eventually. Actually given alot of them have never seen one before, I'd try it on even if it was no complimentaries, worst case you have to pay normal price. Why don't you just ring their help desk ?

Hi guys,

In general you should receive your 2 for 1 movie card around 1-2 weeks after you sign up. There have been some cases of them going missing in the post however - so please do let us know if you have not received yours after 2 weeks.

Glad to hear that some of you are making good use of them!

Yeah I got mine, and was promptely used as a tray for Ant Bait. Not that its a bad idea, but when I do go to the movies, its always to a no free list movie (which in itself sucks). I found it slightly amusing that we get a discount card to use something that would pull us away from the internet and into a dark room.

Havent got mine yet, really have bothered chasing after it as 1) dont think I'll ever get to use it 2) Dont like ringing the Orcon helpdesk, usually involves ripping hair out and Emailing usually envolves weekly response times.

Yeah, unfortunately that "no complimentaries" is a rule handed down from the studios themselves, we would love to make it applicable across the board.

Also missing the $10 credit on my first bill as stated in the letter I received from Orcon.

3 thumbs up for Orcon.

Hmmm

I actually received the movies card today... (one month after I officially sign on with orcon), 8 days after my usage of broadband begins

So i think it is quick and reasonable for me...

   lol and rofl..

I'd assume they would be the perfect size! though any movie discounts has to be better than that stupid "reading reel club", so many movies seen and ooooh, i got a free popcorn upgrade.. wow....Tongue out
