Anyone getting 150-200ms browsing internationally?

I'm getting the standard 20ms browsing NZ websites but Australian servers (google.com.au, supercheapauto.com.au) are averaging 150-200ms, same goes for US. I'm getting the same latency in Discord & Overwatch too.

Device is wired ethernet, power cycled everything.

It wasn't like this yesterday :(

@NickMack Are you aware of any changes?

Provide some trace routes and more information like approx where are you located?

On 2degrees fiber using my phone I'm getting between 50ms and 15ms latency. Switching to Vodafone mobile I'm getting about 65ms.

Back on ethernet with my PC I'm getting quite a bit of variation.

Just be aware testing to a site having com.au at the end doesn't mean it will necessarily go to Australia. If a site is on a CDN it'll head to that which could be local in NZ or could even be in the US.

That's why I started an AWS server I knew was in Sydney. It's stopped now.

Hi All,

Should be seeing traffic/latency back to normal or near enough to... (RSVP/MPLS updating) - Issue resolved.

Nick.
