Hi there I have a Edimax RG215 router that I bought from PB Tech and I need some help setting up with slingshot internet. I’ve tried using the instructions on the slingshot website but had no luck. Would really appreciate any help :)

Hi, I assume by Slingshot you mean via UFB Fibre?, if so you will need to put a pppoe client on vlan10 of the WAN, from a quick read of the manual as found online, I cannot see that this is supported, so it maybe that to use this as a router is not going to happen.

 

But I could have overlooked something in the manual, not having a device infront of me I cannot tell, but I suspect Im 99.9% correct.

 

If its just improved wireless performance you are after, you could use it as an AP and use the ISP supplied router or some other suitable router for routing.
