I've tried everything but cannot connect my Fritzbox to Orcon fibre network.

Did anyone achieve this? How?

Thanks, but like I said I've tried everything including all Orcon's setup guidelines and called them as well.

It's a 7490

I've seen posts on here that just say you don't have to do anything but that doesn't work.

If anyone can recall how they set theirs up that would be great.

My FRITZ!OS is version 06.83 (under overview)

It has an option of internet provider under-

'Internet- Account information- Internet Service Provider' for 'Orcon Internet' and 'Orcon Internet Service Provider' (Orcon is selected)

Connect via- Connection to external modem or router

Operating mode- Establish own connection to internet

Account information- No

Connection setting- 999999 up and 999999 down (I am on the Gigantic plan)

Check the internet connection after 'Apply' checked

Internet- IPV6-

IPV6 enabled

IPV6 connectivity- Use native IPV4 connection

Connection settings-Use DHCPV6 Rapid Commit

LISP not enabled

Hope this helps

DNS servers both set to use assigned by ISP

Awesome, thank you.

Will try this tonight, though I do not recall the option to select Orcon when I did it, only 'other provider'.

Thanks, that didn't work for me.

I actually had 'Orcon' come up as an option then it disappeared.

I've ordered their free Google Wifi so I can bypass their modem altogether. :)

Hi, if I am not mistaken, Orcon fibre requires VLAN 10 tagging, which Google Wifi doesn't support so you can only use Google Wifi as WAP.

We'll see.

I'll report back on speeds once I've set it up.

If it gets 200-250mbs (as it was on 2degress fritzbox) I'll be happy.

Did you connect it to the orcon router or direct to the modem?

I just tried connecting it direct to the modem and doesn't work.

No, I was not able to.

I got the Google WIFI so the speed is now the same as what it was (100-200mbs).

I would still like to connect my Fritzbox so let me know if you are able to do it. :)
