I like the data hour per day more than free data over the weekend. & Thanks to 2Deg, I now have 2 hours. I used my free hour yesterday & saw that another free hour was available. Was confused & thought it might be a glitch. There was no notification in the app of this promotion. & then I forgot to try & use the 2nd free hour. 😢

Two hours free data for summer:
Fair use policy applies. Max speeds reduce to 1 Mbps after 40GB/mth & hotspotting speeds may be reduced further during periods of network congestion.

If you have an active current Prepay or Pay Monthly Plan and register on the Data Clock app by 09/01/20 you will get 2 hours of free data per day until 29/02/20.See www.2degreesmobile.co.nz/mobile/data-clock/  for details on registering for the Data Clock app. Free data hours do not carry over and will expire if they aren’t used each day. Not available in conjunction with any other promotions. 2degrees may amend or cancel at any time.T&Cs apply. See 2degrees.nz for full T&Cs.

I’d prefer that to Skinny’s offer.

Just my phone doesn’t like 2degrees and 4G kept dropping to 3G. iPhone 6.

I see in another thread they’ve gone back to dropping the connection and re-establishing it for data clock, which could be what my phone doesn’t like. Turning phone off and on made no difference though (which makes me think it’s more then just a temporary dropped connection cause), but as soon as data clock session was within 30 seconds of ending, magically the 4G would come back.

Also where I work I’d sometimes got 4G on 2degrees, but most times it went to 3G (2 years ago roughy), Skinny’s 4G is constant.

If all things were equal I’d change to 2degrees for their offer and the year long one, but having 4G work good is more valuable to me. Maybe they fixed it now, but they’ve should’ve fixed it when I brought it to their attention, got the impression the attitude was what is is just what is.

Only if your data session experiences a very specific kind of system fault while the pack is (already) active. Normally, it will stay active always.

iPad Pro 11" + iPhone 15 Pro Max + 2degrees 4tw!

Glad I stumbled across this; will certainly use the extra hour a few times over the next few months
